We can’t always be full of original ideas. Sometimes we need motivation from other design professionals who are successful in generating leads, converting visitors and increasing sales through their landing pages.
Designing a successful landing page requires you to plan for your audience and test the results. There is no one right way to do things, but you can draw creative inspiration from other landing page designs.
Let’s take a look at six of our favorite landing pages that will hopefully inspire creativity in your designs!
We love how uncluttered yet informative Lyft’s landing page is. A simple “Apply Now” form sits on the right side of the page. It lets you know that you can sign up to be a driver in just a few clicks.
Another element we like is that there is a second conversion path: Calculate. If you aren’t quite ready to apply to be a driver but want to see how much you can make based on your hours and location, you can do so.
You don’t have to be a whiskey lover to appreciate the Taster’s Club landing page. To learn more about becoming a member, scroll down and get the facts. Everything is simple and easy to digest, making visitors more comfortable converting. When clicking Join Now, choose the whiskey you like best and the membership options available.
3. Khan Academy
What we find interesting about Khan Academy’s landing page is that it uses its homepage and appeals to multiple audiences. When visiting the site, there are three CTAs: Learners, Teachers and Parents. Click the appropriate link to be directed to personalized content. The rest of the page is simple, breaking things down by subject.
Codecademy is simple design at its finest. You won’t get distracted on this page, especially with the message, “Sign up and start coding in seconds.”
If you scroll down the page, there are bits of information that tells users more about the program and its benefits. With a short video and testimonials from real users, conversions aren’t hard to come by.
Poached brings proprietors and culinary professionals together. Even with all the colorful boxes of information, it doesn’t distract users from the main objective. You may choose between Post a Job or Choose a City. When clicking on one of the CTAs, you will be taken to a short landing page that asks you to log in or create an account.
One final landing page design we want to share is Breather. This landing page is effortless and offers an immediate call to action: type in where you want to find a meeting space. The design also has relaxing, soothing colors and a breathable design. Coincidence? We think not!
There is no one right way to design a landing page. By looking through these above designs, we hope that you are able to draw inspiration and apply it to your own designs.
